The Citizen Action Team needs volunteers to help keep its Hurricane Region "Resource Database" up to date. If you like to talk to people on the phone, this is a major way to contribute to the rebuilding effort. The database gets about 1,000 hits a day and for it to be useful, we need people to call and check on the status of facilities. If you can spare a few minutes a day or even an hour a week, and can talk on the phone at the same time you're on line...please let us know! Terra Friedrichs 978 266 2778 www.citizenactionteam.org

It's May and we still need help! We thought that people would have stopped using the database by now, but lo and behold, we're still getting hundreds of hits/day. So we've started to update the profiles on the site, and are slowing making our way through. And we could use some help. If you want to help the gulf, and can't actually go there, please consider helping with the database! Terra 978 266 2778 www.citizenactionteam.org

The database located at dbase.citizenactionteam.org can be a bit overwhelming at first glance. With a quick tour you will realize it is simple enough to use.
REAL TIME answers to needs and availabilities will help expedite everyone's efforts. However, only a handful of volunteers working to keep up with the daily changes of everyone is incredibaly difficult, although we make our best efforts.
Help could come in many forms. Send us an email as to the current conditions and we will work to support you. BEST is to login to the database for yourself. We can assist you in accessing your own record. We need to know what you need.
Happy to be of service!! Citizen Action Team Volunteers
