« Thread Started on Yesterday at 7:53pm » Just in! The Second Chance School 3617 Lanier Drive Baton Rouge LA 70814 ATTN: Brendia FordThis non-profit school, which has many (a few hundred)special needs children in grades K-12, is in desperate need of clothes for the kids, food, cleaning supplies of all kinds including bleach and Moldzyme (which can be ordered at www.moldmart.net/mold-mildew-stain-cleaner.htm) and Kilz paint, which removes stains from woodwork, etc and prevents them from coming back. "The roof leak is causing mold and FEMA gave us instructions to get rid of the mold, but we have already run out of the given supplies." They also need help getting that roof fixed! They have also asked for clothes and personal care supplies for adults, as they have several adults living there who either volunteer, or are special needs themselves- probably a few dozen! Please help them! Thank You For Your Kind Generosity! Karen Iwicki Katrina/Rita Volunteer Coordinator PS They are already checked out and are receiving hundreds of toys from Katrinas Toys.
