As a Katrina/Rita Volunteer Coordinator, I have been informed that Red Cross plans to pull out their hot meal program in Biloxi in less than 5 weeks. We must do our best to make the people there more self-sufficient. Needs include the following: hibachi or small bar-b-q grills (so they can use wood debris for fuel), camping showers (portable showers will be going also), camping coffee pots (the kind you can put on stoves or on a grill) with coffee and tea, tarps and ropes for roofing repairs, Moldzyme (works better than bleach - call 720-810-7006 to order and ship directly), Camping (Stick-style) Matches, Camping-style Toilets, Brand New Underwear (all sizes), Kilz, and jasmine rice (requested by the Asian population).
Please UPS, FedEX or Express items in small to medium boxes to: East Biloxi Coordination & Relief Center ATTN: ANEESA 618 Division, Biloxi, MS 39530-2341
Thank you so much for your generosity!
